SB 1519 moves on to Senate Rules today (Apr 23rd)

SB 1519 is scheduled for its hearing in the Senate Rules Committee. This committee is the 'Rubber Stamp' of approval vote that the bill is "Constitutional and True to Form. From there: Caucuses, COW (Amendments allowed), 3rd Read and if passes, over to the House for the same process.

Rules committees rarely holds a bill because it is "NOT constitutional and NOT true to form." On those rare occasions when it does, it is usually because the Chairman of the committee doesn't want the bill to move on for political reasons, not because the bill is not constitutional.

However, in this case, they should!
